I am a vegetarian and have been using WEBMD food journal to track calories. I have been staying in the 1400-1600 range as it says I need to to loose 1.5 pounds per week. I have yet to see a change. I started power 90 last week and really enjoy it. Because of the little one who wakes up at 6; I have to work out at night.
My question is about diet. Can anyone recommend a vegetarian diet to help me loose weight. Eating meat is not an option. I also like to limit dairy. Thanks.

There have been many similar vegetarian posts on the boards. If no one responds I will dig around for them.

Basically, you are just concerned with the percentages you get of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, so it shouldn't be very different. For most vegetarians the trick becomes how to get enough protein, which is something that you are probably already familiar with. Adding supplemental protein is a quick and easy way but you should try and get as much varied protein from your diet as you can.

Results will vary. Weight loss may be temporary as exercise and proper diet are required to maintain long-term weight loss and muscle gain.
