Help,
I started in October doing the Slim and 6 and didn't get the results I wanted. I purchased the Power 1/2 hour. I've notice that my stomach is not bigger than when I started. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
BD

BD do you want your stomach to get bigger? That is a first for me. Most of us want a smaller tummy area.

Post to the Fitness Advisors for this one, maybe they can assist you in achieving the look you are working so hard for.

Good luck! Deb

I'm a little lost, too.

What do you mean by a bigger stomach?

I'm thinking it may be a typo, and was suppsed to be "now" instead of "not".

BD -

I should have asked more questions. How tall are you? How much do you weigh? How much have you gained/lost? Are you measuring inches?

You did Si6? What did you do on PHH? What have you been doign exercise and diet-wise in the last 6 months?

What's your diet like? How many calories a day? Are you eating 40-30-30?

I am 5'3 1/2 & weigh 112. I used to weigh 105 before I started & have been this weight for 25 years.I am not measuring myself but know my stomach now buldges out instead of getting flat & sculptured. My diet is the same as before I started because I eat healthy. The only change is I drink 6-8 glasses a water now instead of 1 or 2.I started in December with start it up for a month as I hadn't exercised in a while & then Jan.,Feb.,March did ramp it up.I exercised faithfully for 6 days a week.I wasn't seeing any results so ordered phh. I have been phh for abs since April & that's when I noticed I was getting a buldge. Please help as I am getting discouraged.

When you do your ab work, do you follow this protocol?

Exhale on the way up, contracting your ab muscles and making the area smaller. Then inhale on the way down and expanding and relaxing the area.

If not, this will fix your problem. If you do follow this, then give some more info, like if there is any pain, etc.

You were light before, and are light still, so chances are you've just gained muscle which means that you could be a little smaller overall. There's a good example of this on the Slim in 6 page. On girl where they don't mention weight loss but have pics gained about 5 pounds but totally changed the way she looked. Check her out.

Maybe BD101 better make sure she's not pregnant! A friend of mine had a marathoner come to him complaining of fatigue, weight gain and slower running times and it turned out she was 7 months pregnant!!!
Just a thought.

It's really weird that you are not getting results. I saw results in just two weeks! As far as weight loss, I have lost about 10 lbs in three months, which is slow weight loss, but I eat everything in moderation. However, I have lost three dress sizes. Eating is the most important part of weight loss. You can work out 7 days a week, but if you don't change your eating habits, you will not lose weight. I like to rely on the clothes size instead of the scale.

I had the same thing happen when I was doing my ab routines. I noticed that when I increased my cardio to 4 times a week (at least 30 minutes) and made sure to keep my back flat against the floor and my abs tucked in when performing ab routines, it helped to lean out and flatten my abs. I had to concentrate regarding proper form, as if I were trying to pull my navel into my spine and breathed through the ab routine (as was suggested) and it seemed to work doing it that way.

Results will vary. Weight loss may be temporary as exercise and proper diet are required to maintain long-term weight loss and muscle gain.
