I am currently taking Muscle techs "Nitrotech" and "Celltech."

Recently while I was in GNC I had one of they're reps they're telling me I should try taking my Creatine in a pill form as opposed to taking cell tech. She had said that the intake of sugar that you got when taking cell tech had turned a lot of people away from it.

Right now my main goal is to lose a bit of weight off of my mid section but gain weight at the same time in my arms, pecs and back. I'm on my way but is the Cell tech actually working against my goals and is it even worth taking or should I just change it up?

It could be working against you from a purely caloric standpoint. However, those calories are very efficient when taken post workout, provided that you've earned them by working hard enough to exhaust your glycogen stores. If you've done this, then taking creatine without some sugar would greatly affect its absorption efficiency and you would not get the same benefit.

My advice would be to not take creatine for a cycle while you focus on fat reduction. You should still make gains--though limited. And since you should probably cycle creatine anyway you might as well go off of it during a time you're trying to cut.

Next cycle, evaluate your goals. If it's to maximize strength and size gains, go back on the Cell Tech. If you still want to lose some fat but feel you need creatine, I would take in after resistance workouts only and not on cardio days. You don't really recruit high threshold motor units on those days anyway, so you aren't exhausting your creatine stores. I would not recommend pill form because it's less effective than powder form. If you don't want allk the calories of CT, try mixing creatine with some phosphates and just a bit of sugar, or even eat a banana. Anything high in pH without a lot of fiber works. Some mineral waters would be a good base. Some folks use Alka Seltzer but that seems a bit extreme to me. There are also mixed on the market without sugar but they generally contain artificial sweetner (why, I don't know b/c no one drinks this stuff because it tastes good, you just shoot it down).

Results will vary. Weight loss may be temporary as exercise and proper diet are required to maintain long-term weight loss and muscle gain.
