I am working out 6 days a week with the slim series but I cannot seem to eat enough. I figure that I am eating all the wrong foods which are actually keeping hungry. Should I go to an organic health food store or what would you suggest. I eat brown everything but I am having problem with a healthy breakfast and healthy snacks. I really need some suggestions on how many calories a day and how to read and understand these labels. Calories vs calories from fat. Anything would help. I want to lean up. I am 138 lbs and have lost a total of 34 but I cannot seem to shed the fat that is covering my muscles. You can seem them a little but with as much as I work out you should see them more.

Thanks
Hellice

First thing to do is read the diet guide that came with Si6. Also, have a look at the six day express that cam with it. In fact, you can tweak the first express plan to be more of a long term thing, so once you've read that, we can talk about it.

Also, read these articles. They should explain a lot.

Once you've done that, come back with any questions!

I have another very important question about my heart rate. I work out 6 days a week doing the slim series and my heart rate at rest is usually between 85-100. When I exercise it goes to about 120-140. Is this normal? I have been told before that my heart rate should not be that high especially since I work out. Do you have any knowledge regarding this area? I wear my heart monitor to keep a check of it regularly

85-100 isn't anything to worry about. While athletes dip into the 40s, most people range between 60 and 100. If you get over that, then worry.

However, if your resting heart rate is increasing, that's a sign of overtraining. So if it was in the 70s before and now it's climbing, that means a rest week is entirely in order.

Keep an eye on it to make sure this isn't happening.

Here's an article that'll help you use your monitor:

mine is always over 100. It usually is around 105 when I wake up in the mornings from sleeping. So is this not normal? When I work out it gets to be around 170.

A couple days ago, you said it was between 85 and 100. Is it going up? If so, I think it's time to take a rest week.

How long have you been doing SS without a rest week?

i have been doing SS for 3 weeks now. I am going to begin working out twice a day for 3 out of the 6 days. Am I going to give myself a heartattack? it doesn't matter what I do I cannot quit eating. I am a pig. Any suggestions on how to curb this insatiable appetite?

I don't think you should workout twice a day. I do think that's overtraining, but you didn't answer my previous questions, so I need to know that.

As for eating, you can stop eating. It takes willpower and we all have it. This diet plan might make it a little easier.

Results will vary. Weight loss may be temporary as exercise and proper diet are required to maintain long-term weight loss and muscle gain.
