I have been really considering the purchase of Xenadrine EFX (the one with no ephedra) and was wondering if anyone here has used it or knows someone that is using it and if it really helps cut the appitite??? Any problems.
Thanks

I've tried Xenadrene back in December when I was unable to exercise at all and I kept my diet very strict. I have to say I did lose 10 lbs. in 2 weeks (again without exercising). At first it made me feel a little weird. Not jittery I can't really explain it. I have used the Slim in 6 Slimming Formula and liked that very much. YOu have to take it 2 pills 3x a day, while the dosage for Xenadrene is 2 pills at breakfast or before a workout and 2 pills at lunch. Don't take at night.

I just finished the same bottle of Xenadrene yesterday and plan on going back to the Slimming Formula. What program are you doing?

I've used Xenadrine last year to really lose weight and it works. I only take 1 tablet in the morning and if you don't want to feel that jittery/nervous/amped feeling, then you have to work it off (meaning, exercise!) The pill is made to help you lose fat and retain lean muscle. Then you may take another one in the afternoon to help suppress appetite. After a week or so, you will feel the extra energy it gives you. I stopped after 3 months using it cause i didn't want to get addicted. (I was taking the one with ephedrine) and luckily, I kept off 30 lbs for a whole year without having to take Xenadrine. Now I'm back using it and doing Power 90 and feeling great on my mission to lose another 30-40 lbs!!! Good luck!

My husband and I have been using this product along with power 90 and the both of us are noticing results. I have used other products in the past and I like not having to take so many pills in 1 day. The energy level is great and it does cut the need to feed. Both of us are following a strict eating regimine of eating every 2-3 hrs and counting calories and fat intake. We don't eat anything past 7 pm and losts of water!! I have been cooking good meals with lots of veggies. I started 1/27/03 and have lost 8 lbs. My husband started 2/3 and has lost 9 lbs but most of his seems to be water weight. He had a bad habit of soda and eating fast food and eating late at night. I think that different products affect people differently, do your homework and find out what is best for you. Ask your doctor for help! Good Luck!!!

Xenadrine EFX has been shown to be safe, so far. It doesn't work as well as the ephedra version, but people aren't dying from it either. Take it after you eat to perform maximally as a thermogenic. Keep in mind that it does't make all that much difference in your body compostition. We're talking maybe 300 or so cals a day difference, so you still need to eat well and exericse to see any dramatic results.

My husband loves Xenadrine! He takes it everyday for energy. I have taken it and it does give me that extra boost and definately gets rid of the cravings however, I feel very drained by the time the pills ware off. I personally love Stacker 2. It most definately gets rid of cravings. I have so much energy and It's sometimes hard to stop going and sit down for a minute. I also don't get that gittery feeling when I take them. I had to limit myself to one in the morning and one in the afternoon because if I took the third one at dinner time I couldn't sleep. I didn't realize in the beginning that that was what was causing my sleeplessness and I didn't sleep for almost 2 days.

Question for Fitness Advisor!
What are your comments on Stacker 2? I haven't really heard anyone talking about them.

Thanks,

Melissa

Stacker 2 contains ephedra. I'd steer clear of it. If you've been following these threads or the news lately, you'll know why.

Keep in mind that my post above was for Xenadrine EFX, which is ephedra-free, not the original.
